Hollywoodbets App: Download and Install Safely
You can bet on Hollywoodbets through the app, the full website or the lighter mobile site. Fake apps and "mirror" links are a real way to lose your account, so the most important rule is to install only from official sources.
iPhone and iPad
- Open the App Store and search for Hollywoodbets.
- Check that the developer name and listing match the official Hollywoodbets listing and that the app is rated 18+.
- Tap Get and sign in with your Apple ID if asked.
- Open the app and log in or register.
Availability can depend on the country of your Apple ID. If you cannot find the app, check your App Store region or use the mobile website.
Android
Hollywoodbets has distributed its Android app from its own website rather than through the Google Play Store, because Google restricts real-money betting apps in South Africa. Confirm the current method on the official site.
- On your phone, open the official Hollywoodbets website directly. Type the address yourself; do not tap a link from a social post or message.
- Find the Android app download link and download the file.
- If your phone asks, allow your browser to install apps from this source for the installation.
- Open the downloaded file and install.
- Turn the "install unknown apps" permission off again afterwards.
- Open the app and log in.
Safety rules
- Official source only. Do not install betting apps from Telegram, WhatsApp, forums or search ads.
- Be wary of "Live Scores" apps. Some apps on the Play Store use the Hollywoodbets name but do not offer betting.
- Check the permissions. A betting app does not need access to your contacts or messages.
- Never share your OTP or password, even with someone claiming to be support.
- Keep your phone updated and update the app when new versions appear.
