About This Guide

HB Guide SA is an independent guide to Hollywoodbets for South African players. We explain how the platform works and help with common problems such as deposits, FICA and withdrawals.

We are not Hollywoodbets. This site is not owned, operated or endorsed by Hollywoodbets, and we cannot access, verify or change your account. The official sites are hollywoodbets.net and hollywoodbets.mobi. For account help, contact Hollywoodbets or visit a branch.

Who writes it

Guides are written and maintained by Mattys Van Heerden, who covers the South African sports betting market. Each page shows the date it was last reviewed.

Editorial policy

Legal accuracy first. We cover sports and horse racing betting, which is legal for adults with provincially licensed operators. Online casino gambling is illegal in South Africa, and we do not review or promote it.
Licensed operators only. We do not recommend offshore sites that lack a South African licence.
No invented numbers. Bonus amounts, limits and processing times change often. We do not quote figures we cannot verify, and we point you to the operator's cashier and terms instead.
No workarounds. We will not advise ways around bank controls, verification or self-exclusion.
Responsible gambling is never a sales page. Our support page carries no affiliate links.
Corrections. If you spot an error, tell us and we will review and update the page.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site, marked as affiliate links, take you to betting operators through a /go/ address. If you sign up through one, we may receive a commission from the operator. This costs you nothing and does not change the offer you get. Commissions never decide what we write about an operator's licensing, terms or problems.

Age and responsibility

This site is for adults aged 18 and over. Gambling can be addictive; if you need help, call the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation toll-free on 0800 006 008.
